Suspended In Dusk . . . was the quarterly magazine of the Highgate vampire Society which was founded in 1997. Edited by Kev Demant and beautifully illustrated by his wife Chrissie, the magazine supplies a wealth of behind the scenes information about the findings and activities of some of the people involved directly – or indirectly – in that case. The 40 page magazine was published by David Farrant who retains exclusive copyright of the publication and distribution, and contributors included John Pope-de-Locksley, Dave Milner, Kenny Frewin, Phillipe de Welt, Rob Milne, and Rob Brautigam of International Vampire Magazine and shroudeater.com. Despite the clamouring attempts of critics to get the magazine banned, it ran to 6 issues over a 2 year period, and is still in demand by collectors of underground publications (despite having an official ISSN!) and ‘fangzines’. Some back issues of the magazine are available at £9.50 per issue including, and due to dwindling stock, electronic copies are also available at £4.50 per issue.
