December 12th 2006:
Well, it's been a hectic and difficult week, but all those sleepless hours seem to have paid off!
I present you, dear reader, with the new look David Farrant website & if you cast your eye across to the left, you'll see a button taking you to the new look forum. I'm hoping you'll take the time to check it out and become a member.
At the moment, it's a case of trying to build up the member base again and as such, isn't as active as the old one...yet!
You'll also notice that there is a new button "THVS" - The Highgate Vampire Society deserves its own button as this website should not be confused as an extension of The Highgate Vampire episode.
This website is more to do with the man behind the myth - David Farrant; author, investigator, researcher and pretty decent all round chap (that's a fiver you owe me David!).
In closing, I should add that you may find the website and forum act up from time to time over the next few days. This is part of the whole maintenance and update procedure, so please accept my apologies in advance and just hit that refresh button a few times or go and make yourself a cup of tea and by the time you get back, it should be fixed.

December 5th 2006:
Well, as you may well have gathered by recent events, and due to internal problems, the MSN forum boards are no more and by next week, the current Proboards forum board will be down as well.
But never fear, for here at DavidFarrant.org, we have back up plans!
Obviously, this now gives us the chance to unify all the scattered groups and get them posting in one place, and that place is located to left of your screen under 'Forum'.
Please feel free to join up and post your thoughts.
Over time, the format will change but for now, it's an open discussion but please be respectful of each other.
Should there be any teething problems with the board, accept our apologies in advance and we'll sort them out a.s.a.p.

Regarding the September edition of 'The Highgate Vampire Casebook Files'...
...well, the more astute reader will realise that we are now into November.
Rest assured, the magazine will indeed see the light of day very soon.
Rather than rush the magazine out, we feel that every detail should be perfect and hope you will have patience in our bid for perfection.
Finally, we have a new interview for you to read on the Interview page.
Scroll down the bottom of the page to read an interview with David Farrant from Issue 18 of the International Vampire Magazine.

August 9th 2006:
A new video has been added to the Download page.
"The Highgate Investigation", is a documentary that was filmed in 2004.
The fact that four decades after the events, filmmakers are still keen to work with David Farrant puts paid to any theory that the case is closed.
In an attempt at breathing new life into the story and getting the definitive word from the man who started the official investigation into the Highgate Entity, David Farrant is still in high demand by production companies around the world.

August 7th 2006:
A new video has been added to the Download page.
Taken from the highly popular Sci Fi channel, the clip is part of an hour long programme, "Fang vs Fiction" and features David Farrant giving a brief history of the Highgate Case.
For people wanting a full account of the true story, head on over to the book list and order a copy of "Beyond The Highgate Vampire" which disposes of the 'Vampire' myth and sets the record straight.
