WELCOME TO DAVIDFARRANT.ORG v.2.0
Well it's been a busy few months behind the scenes here, but finally, an update.
2007 has been a tiresome year for the team but an exhausting one for David himself.
The short version includes legal action, being arrested by the police, having his computers and other equipment seized, through to an obvious conclusion of having all charges dropped, an apology for wasting his time and the return of his computers and other equipment.
All this in an effort to silence him and stop him from publishing a series of extremely damning books that will expose the lengths people will go to, to distort, bend the truth and lie in an effort to save their own reputation, whilst trying to live off of his name.
Sound a bit heavy and extreme? Well you ain't heard nothing yet!
Because of the length of time this matter has taken, his books have been knocked slightly out of publication date, but as a direct result of this, another title has been agreed upon and will tie David up to writing agreements until late 2010.
The first book, which will be a reworking of "Shadows In The Night" and "Dark Journey", is to form the first book of an autogiography series. As well as being an amalgam of the books, it will also include lots of new chapters to seamlessly join the two books together and fill in the missing years.
The tentative release date for this book, is Summer 2008.
The next book, a revised compilation of the nine "Man, Myth & Manchester" books (which are available online from Amazon, W.H.Smith, Waterstone's, World-Power-Books and Blackwell) will be hitting the shelves towards Christmas 2008/January 2009.
The as yet unamed and revised book, will feature several new chapters on familiar characters but will also feature a huge amount of detail on the latest recruit to the anti-Farrant brigade. It will also explain the legal situation of last year, including the on-going harrassment of David Farrant in fine detail.
The new book will feature images which are the copyright of the BPOS or have been purchased by us via media outlets.
We'll keep you up to date on the books and let you know as soon as they are available on Amazon.

The decision to rebuild the website seemed like a clever one at the time, but trying to get all the necessary people together to plan and prepare it was a difficult task in itself.
Along with the latest member of the B.P.O.S and web designer (Adamski), the content providers, webmaster, forum controller and Youtube director, we sincerely hope you enjoy the new look and find it a lot more interactive than the dull and slightly insipid old version!
All the old favourites are still there but have been thoroughly updated with a new gallery amongst others.
Whilst the team have made every effort to ensure all the links and buttons work properly and take you to the right place, there is the smallest possibility that something may not work...unlikey, but possible.
If you experience any problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch and let us know the exact problem and we'll have it sorted within 24 hours.Along with the re-vamped website, we have also decided to add a Youtube channel to proceedings. At the moment, there is only one episode uploaded to DFTVX, but we will be working on more episodes as soon as David's current filming obligations are completed...and when the VFX team can stay sober long enough!
Comments are welcomed on the YouTube page, but they are also moderated, so please, keep them clean. If there are any questions you'd like raised in a future episode, send them over via email or perhaps suggest it to David on his blog, and we'll try and work them in.
